Third-party Liability – All recognised country sports, except competitive horse events.

 

This now covers: All types of shooting with any legal weapons, whether at live or artificial targets, indoors or outdoors; all types of fishing with rode and line; all types of falconry and hawing; all types of gundog work, including test and trials; all types of lurcher and terrier work, including racing and showing at events; ferreting; archery; hunting’ hacking and general personal horse use; the use of hounds, etc., for hunting. The insurance is valid anywhere within UK territorial limits, so sea fishing is also included if you are within these limits, and the full cover extends to anywhere in the world if a member is on holiday.

 

Note that this cover applies when carrying out these activities as a sport.

 

NOBs Insurance cover is provided in association with the Scottish Association for Country Sports (SACS), and the annual membership period is from 1^st August to 29^th July each year.

Please note that new members joining in the period 1^st February to 31^st July, who choose to take the insurance cover will be charged for a period of 18 months to ensure they are immediately covered from date of joining.

Existing members who choose to upgrade to include the insurance, will be have their membership period amended to start on 1^st August.
