Nigel Scullion Regional Officer for East Anglia the National Organisation of Beaters and Pickers Up
I have always had a love of the countryside, even as a small boy growing up in London. Then moving to Lancashire and being on a short distance from the lakes helped deepen my love of the out doors. I worked for a time as a forester/tree surgeon in Cambridge, but never had any opportunities’ to take part in country sports till a few years ago, when I was invited beating on a large estate nearby. The rest as they say is history.
It’s a shame that an Organisation like Nobs didn’t appear sooner as it would have been a great help to others like myself who wanted to but didn’t know how, as it were. Nobs has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2005, and I felt quite honoured when asked to be the East Anglian RO.
Don’t hesitate to contact me I am always willing to help and answer any questions you may have.
