Having been educated in Norfolk and introduced to shooting and beating in the same county by a family friend at the age of eight, I can now say I have been involved for nearly 40 years (which is a frightening thought!). I have been lucky enough to have lived abroad for many years and enjoyed the hunting customs within different cultures. I enjoy all aspects of shooting - I beat, work my dogs and shoot whenever possible - although not having much of a rest this summer having just taken on an ESS puppy, who is keeping me busy!

My first thought when hearing of NOBs was “wow, what a wonderful idea and an excellent opportunity to get new people involved”

Shortly after joining I became a County Rep, and recently felt honoured to be asked to take on the role of Regional Officer for East Anglia. Now as Director of Marketing I am looking forward to using the experience I have gained over the years whilst helping new businesses develop and increase their brand awareness in helping NOBs move forward. My goal is to see the continued success of the organisation, which will help to keep the shooting industry and all that goes with it alive and kicking!
